8048


The 8048 was one of the first microcontrollers that included I/O, RAM, ROM, and a timer on chip. The first 8048 was manufactured by Intel in 1977. Many devices utilize the 8048, including the original IBM PC keyboard and the Odyssey 2 video game by Magnavox.
